Well, it is Friday we have finally arrived in Zambia-a day late of course. The flight from the US was 1/2 hr late and we were not able to catch our connecting flight on Thursday evening. We spent night in Johannesburg. Upon arriving in Lusaka, we met with another snag. Although we had VISAs to stay 6 weeks, our passports were stamped for a shorter time. This will mean another day to straighten that out. We met with the CDC representative in Zambia this evening for dinner. On Monday we will meet our Zambian colleagues and see our site. Still tired and running on US time. Hopefully I can adjust by Monday.
